Welcome to my 2014 cycling blog! For those of you that followed along last

There are a couple of new aspects to this year’s trip. Most
importantly my father Darryll and I are riding together from La Jolla, CA to
Phoenix, AZ. Secondly, I’m not sure how
far I’ll be riding. At least to Phoenix,
likely longer and possibly to the east coast; we shall see!

Before we started the rides we had a wonderful dinner with a colleague of mine, Clint Haris, at a great Italian restaurant in La Jolla - great carb and protein dinner (just 1 beer...)! Clint was nice enough to take us up to Mt Soledad in La Jolla after dinner - check out that view!
